Casa de los Arboles

Conceptual design for an 85,000 square foot, five-story mixed use project proposed for downtown Austin, Texas. Project was to be a model of energy efficiency, sustainable design and construction containing educational, office, retail, residential and structured parking components.

• Building orientation and massing for optimal solar exposure / protection
• Emphasis on vegetated pedestrian spaces, including a roof garden
• Residential units ranging from affordable to high end
• Convenient downtown location to minimize vehicular travel
