Casa de los Arboles

Master plan for a proposed 85,000 square foot, five story mixed use urban project. A very high degree of sustainability was one of the client's primary concerns. Proposed site features include:

• Building orientation and massing for optimal solar exposure / protection
• Emphasis on vegetated pedestrian spaces, including a roof garden
• Residential units ranging from affordable to high end
• Community-oriented courtyard entry for office / retail
• Private vegetated roof garden with water feature and garden area for residents
• Rainwater harvesting for landscape irrigation
• Convenient downtown location to minimize vehicular travel
